Hi guys!

Okay so yesterday I had this conversation with a couple people and I was shocked to realize that at this age in life, how far humanity has come and how much we have evolved some people still have this silly mentality that women have nothing to offer except sex. Some human even went as far as saying “women were created from a finished product so of course they have nothing to offer except sex” *as in the story of Adam and Eve* (are you confused too? I mean what does that even mean because I’m not understanding). What even annoyed me the most is that there was actually a female in support of this rubbish, like woman are you trying to tell me that your mother went through the pain of  child bearing so you can come into this world to be a source of pleasure to men?

It saddens my heart to know that most women out there still have that mentality that women belong in the bedroom and in the kitchen and I hope that soon enough we’d all learn how strong we are and how we can do almost anything at all if we put our minds to it. Society doesn’t have to control how we feel about ourselves or how we think about ourselves ladies, that’s up to us. We should teach our girls the same way we teach our boys just like Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie said in her book “we should all be feminists”. I hear people most times saying how this is a man’s world but that’s because society made it so. 50 years from now 100 years from now is it going to be the same? Are women still going to be seen as second class? Having nothing to offer except sex? I hope not because I’d want my future daughter to live in a better world but that’s not gonna happen if we don’t do something to change that mentality and teach our young better, male and female alike.

Okay so this post is looking very feminist like but I guess it is what it is lol. Thanks for reading! Till next time peaacceeee!
